Rebecca's Joy

Encouragement in Christ through Life's Journey

4.30.25

The month of April was full of robust and beautiful adventures, coupled with many mundane moments. We also saw God answer prayers we have been praying for as well as abundantly bless us with the joy of reuniting with life long friends we had not seen in a very long time.

At the beginning of the month, we had the chance to make a trip to see two sets long time friends in Phoenix. We were privledged to see our dear friends, who discipled Frank, as well as the first person Frank led to Christ. His family are missionaries in South Korea, so they had a small window of their furlow that we got to spend with them. We enjoyed good food, the Grand Canyon, and sweet fellowship immersed in the Bible.

On Saturday, we headed off to Branson, MO. Frank was invited to give a charge at a 25th Anniversary vow renewal. It was such a beautiful, God-honoring, and sacred ceremony. We also spent some time in nature at Top of the Rock (driving golf carts), and at Dogwood Canyon. Besides our friend’s wedding, the other highlight was a production of David at Sight and Sound Theater.

Our trip home, we were able to visit with five other families we have known. Finally, we made it home after 3400 miles, visits with eight different families, watched the series, “Drive Through History: Acts to Revelation,” and enjoyed lots of Chick-fil-A, and amazing conversations in the car.

For Easter, we went to our dear friends house, and enjoyed a lovely lunch, followed by some time at Frank’s mom & sisters’ house.
