Our Journey to Adopt

As a couple, Frank and I have weathered the storm of infertility for over a decade. We have gone through numerous fertility treatments and attempted embryo adoption (twice!), which resulted in a miscarriage at 9 weeks and a chemical pregnancy, respectively. We were foster parents for a short time, but quickly realized we were in over our head, and dealt with many wounds both past and present. While fostering brought us joy and a sense of purpose, we ultimately feel led to pursue adoption. We are realistic about the challenges we may face, but we are also excited about the possibility of expanding our family through domestic infant adoption. Our faith has been our anchor, and we trust that God has a plan for our life, no matter what it may look like.
